Join Dr. Raahib Dudhia a specalist dental and maxillofacial radiologist and learn how to get the most out of our diagnostic imaging, or if there is a better way to visualise, diagnose and treat dental disease?
When is it appropriate to take a CBCT scan of all teeth, and when is it preferred to localise the scan to just a few teeth? And when is high resolution imaging really needed?
In this session you’ll learn how to select the ideal CBCT protocol for a variety of real-world clinical scenarios encountered by Dr Dudhia in his clinical practice. Learn about the challenges and pitfalls of choosing the wrong protocol, and how to recognise if the CBCT scan you’ve taken isn’t adequate for your diagnostic needs.
We’ll also explore a wide range of commonly encountered normal variations and some less common anomalies and pathology, to give you the confidence to improve your utilisation of CBCT in daily practice and to know when to engage with a dental radiologist or other specialists for assistance.
