All-tissue and diode lasers provide clinicians with precise, conservative options for managing gingival and other soft tissues. This course explores how Er,Cr:YSGG and diode laser energy interacts with tissue, and how wavelength, power, pulse duration, water and air settings influence incision, ablation, coagulation, healing and patient comfort.

Participants will examine clinical applications including gingival recontouring, gingivectomy, soft-tissue troughing, frenectomy, lesion management where controlled tissue removal and haemostasis are important. The course will also cover appropriate wavelength selection and when Er,Cr:YSGG or diode technology offers the most suitable clinical approach.

The course will also briefly introduce fractional Er,Cr:YSGG delivery for controlled resurfacing, scar management and improvement of skin texture and contour.

Emphasis will be placed on treatment planning, laser safety, tissue endpoints, clinical technique, post-operative care and recognising the limits of treatment.d recognising the limits of treatment.
