The P42 is a 4-axis wet dental machining unit, purpose-built for chairside use in modern dental clinics. Designed to machine glass ceramics and titanium premilled abutments, the P42 offers outstanding precision, speed, and ease of use—making it ideal for same-day restorations including crowns, inlays/onlays, veneers, abutments, and telescopic crowns.
With core components and the high-speed spindle imported from Germany, the P42 delivers consistent machining accuracy that meets the demands of clinical dentistry. The water-cooled spindle ensures stable performance with hard materials, while the cast precision frame and auto-calibration system maintain long-term reliability and repeatability. Automatic calibration runs weekly, keeping the machine in top condition without manual intervention.
Capable of machining up to three glass ceramic blocks or one premilled titanium abutment at a time, the P42 supports a wide range of materials and is accurate enough to produce ultrathin veneers as thin as 0.2 mm.
The system comes fully integrated with SOREAL design software and UPCAM CAM software (annual licence fees apply), offering a seamless digital workflow from scan to design to machining. The intuitive interface supports open STL file formats and is compatible with popular design software platforms such as exocad, 3Shape, and more—giving clinics total freedom and flexibility.
Built-in features like undercut removal, resume machining, a real-time monitoring camera, and an LED status bar enhance usability and reduce the risk of error. The included UPCAM system also monitors tool wear and optimises toolpath strategy to minimise material failure and ensure consistent results.
